This year, our annual Celebration of Ministry carries extra meaning: EMLI is celebrating our 75th Anniversary. Join us as we honor parish-based ministries across Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk, and look back on Episcopal Ministries' 75 years of supporting and uplifting faith in action across the Diocese. This year, the Celebration of Ministry will return to The Inn at New Hyde Park on October 21, 2026, at 6:00 PM.
We're proud to honor two remarkable ministries at this dinner:
- The Food Pantry of St. George's Episcopal Church in Hempstead, for over 16 years of addressing food insecurity for the community's growing immigrant population.
- The Youth Summer Enrichment program of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Rosedale, for equipping local youth with life skills through hands-on courses in safety, health, and financial literacy.
Through shared stories, a meal, and the recognition of outstanding ministries, this joyful evening is a chance to give thanks for the life-changing work happening throughout the Diocese and to be inspired to continue building a more loving, just world. None of it would be possible without the donors, sponsors, and friends who make this work possible year after year, and this evening is as much a celebration of you as it is of our honorees
