The Garden Ministry Affiliate Group brings together garden leaders and volunteers to reflect on who their gardens currently serve and to imagine who else might benefit from this ministry.
Together, we will explore ways parish gardens can strengthen community connections, reduce food insecurity, and serve as places of welcome and collaboration. We'll explore topics like:
- Who in the community benefits from our gardens? Who else could we serve?
- Opportunities to partner/collaborate with schools, shelters, food pantries, or senior centers.
- How the garden can strengthen community relationships and reduce food insecurity.
