Nourish Babylon has expanded their capacity to provide even more social services for guests. With a grant from Island Harvest, the food ministry purchased six waterproof, lockable bike and belongings storage units.
Often when people are experiencing homelessness, they are forced to carry all of their belongings with them at all times or risk them being stolen or damaged. The pods provide a safe and clean place for guest to store their belongings, thus reducing one of the struggles they encounter daily.
In addition to the pods, Nourish Babylon was also able to provide guests with laundry vouchers.
