The turkeys have landed, almost 1,000 of them! A whopping TEN THOUSAND pounds of fresh produce also went to our partners courtesy of Food Bank For New York City.
North Brooklyn Angels will be hosting several Thanksgiving Day events, where volunteers have been secured to help set up and serve across three locations, and over 200 servings (so far!) of desserts baked by local volunteers.
Two churches in the Diocese of Long Island will be hosting a Thanksgiving meal:
but it's looking like we're going to host Thanksgiving meals at two of the following Episcopal parishes:
- Tuesday, November 21 at Bushwick Abbey
- Thursday, November 23 at Church of the Ascension
