Simply the Best: Award-Winning Communicators on Social Media and Website Effectiveness

Posted by Mary Grace Puszka

This award-winning panel all working in the ministry of Episcopal communications will explore best practices for your social media and website. Co-sponsored by Episcopal Communicators, panelists will explore technical and minor details to holistic and content driven decisions for the creation and maintenance of engaging social media and websites.

Our social media and websites are often the face of our organization, vital for evangelism, attracting newcomers, and representing our faith far beyond our church walls. Yet our communities often also rely on them to stay informed and build a sense of community. How do we best achieve both of those goals–speaking to members and to the larger public–in effective, clear, and fun ways. Come with questions, come to learn, and come to join fellowship with other communicators across the church. These panelists each won awards in either the social media or website categories at the Polly Bond Excellence in Church Communications Awards for work completed during the 2023 calendar year. Members of Episcopal Communicators are eligible to submit entries to 14+ categories each year to be judged and recognized by industry experts in each communications category.
