Father James Reiss serves as Rector-Elect of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Patchogue and is a Navy Chaplain. He formerly served as Curate at San Francisco, Riverhead (Centro Franciscano), and St. John's, Huntington.
Fr. Reiss graduated from the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest, where he focused on Latinx Ministry and Military Chaplaincy. Commissioned as chaplain in 2024, he currently serves with Training and Education Command in the Marine Corps, and the Reserve Center in Farmingdale.
