This food ministry has been addressing food insecurity in Hempstead and neighboring communities for over 16 years. The very committed volunteers are effectively addressing the needs of the new immigrant population. They have been successfully able to obtain generous donations of food from feeding programs, civic organizations, community donations, and parishes.
