St. Stephen's Street Ministry is dedicated to serving the less fortunate in our community, embodying the teachings of Matthew 25:40: “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it to me.” Launched in March 2024, this outreach initiative focuses on supporting immigrants who are facing challenges such as food insecurity and homelessness.
Recognizing the growing number of immigrants seeking help, the ministry provides warm, nutritious meals to those in need. Since its inception, St. Stephen's Street Ministry has served over 300 meals, distributed clothing and shoes, and extended a welcoming hand to help these individuals navigate their new circumstances.
By fostering trust and community, they aim to help immigrants develop skills and access resources that will lead to self-sufficiency. In addition to providing physical nourishment, the goal is to nurture a sense of belonging within the parish and the wider community.
