Episcopal Ministries of Long Island works to ensure that all people across Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk have their basic human rights to food, water, clothing, and housing met. Rooted in the teachings of Christ, we recognize that each person is entitled to these basic rights simply due to their inherent dignity as a child of God. We believe that all people deserve to have their basic needs met, and we are called to work diligently to ensure these rights for all people.

Ministries that fall under this ministry focus area are meeting the basic human rights to food, water, clothing, and housing for all our neighbors across the diocese.
